In the Room
The location, quiet yet central, room serviced daily even if all it needed was fresh towels.
No complaints would like a coffee maker which is standard in most hotels motels these days.
There was good access to the center of town, and to leaving for other areas of interest.
Altho we were greeted in a most amiable way, we were disappointed in the fact that where was nothing in the room to denote to us how to contact the office except by going to the office for this sevice. On two ocasions, we went down only to find the door locked and no answer to the bell. There was also no control for the tv, which was later found under the bed, which the manager did locate : also the dusting of the room was very poor: the bathroom was fairly clean. This indicates to me the staff is not doing an adequate job in preparing the room for potential clients, nor is the manager assessing them. Such a shame to pay someone for doing a poor job! There was no ice machine, and only a winter blanket in the very hot weather , nor could we find anyone to ask for a lighter weight cover for the night. Even tho' the rate for night was satisfactory, I doubt I would recommend or choose this place again. The entry door was also difficult to open /close, making you feel somewhat insecure.
Close to town, accessible to everywhere, like shannon falls, the chief and even whistler.
